As an actor
Finally taking a leap of faith, Sara followed her life-long passion for acting, and in 2021 graduated from Actors Academy Finland's One Year Meisner-based training. As an actor, she is ambitiously gaining experience in screen acting, working in feature and short films as well as TV series. She will be seen in the horror-thriller feature film When We Come Together (UK) looking to be released in 2023. She also appears in the recently released TV series Helsinki Syndrome produced by Fisher King and in season 2 of Maria Kallio produced by Jarowskij Finland.
Sara has trained with acting coaches based in UK, USA, and Finland. She currently trains with acting coach Dominic Kelly. Her training consists of the Meisner Technique, Method Acting, Voice and Movement, Screen Acting, and Scene Study. She is continuously developing her craft and is currently also undergoing studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
With her previous BA degree in film studies, Sara also has experience in creating and producing short films, documentaries, and commercials. Her latest role as a producer in the short film FARDOSA, made in collaboration with production company Tiistai and Somesuch, and directed by Anton Tammi, Rukia Mahamed, and Iqlaas Osman, was released on Nowness in 2021 and won the Main Prize in the National Competition's under 30 minutes category at Tampere Film Festival 2022.
