Finally taking a leap of faith, Sara followed her life-long passion for acting, and in 2021 graduated from Actors Academy Finland's One Year Meisner-based training. As an actor, she is ambitiously gaining experience in screen acting, working in feature and short films, TV shows, as well as commercials. She's been privileged to work alongside notable journalist and author Riku Rantala, director and screenwriter Reetta Aalto, and been a part of the renowned director Aku Louhimies' latest production Omerta 6/12. She's played roles in the upcoming TV series Helsinki Syndrome produced by Fisher King and the new series Kaverikirja produced by Dionysos Films, both looking to be released in 2022.
Sara has trained and continues to train with acting coaches based in UK, USA, and Finland. She's trained with coaches such as Dig Wayne, Gary Condés, Tom Sawyer, Gary Pillai, Fey Beck, Ben Joiner, and Nita Arpiainen. Her training has consisted of Meisner Technique, Voice and Movement, Screen Acting, Self-Taping, and Scene Study. She is continuously learning the craft and is currently undergoing studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.
With her previous BA degree in film studies, Sara also has experience in creating and producing short films, documentaries, and commercials. Her latest role as a producer in the short film FARDOSA, made in collaboration with production company Tiistai, and directed by Anton Tammi, Rukia Mahamed, and Iqlaas Osman, was released on Nowness in 2021.
